We are now stocking a beautiful new range of Peruvian Palo Santo based incense sticks and tablets by Ispalla Incense.
Sustainable & Fair Trade: This incense has been created with the support of the Peruvian government who are working towards ensuring that all Peruvian Palo Santo is sustainably harvested and shared with the world in an ethical way. The packaging is delicate, earthy toned, 100% recyclable, with zero plastic used. The production of this incense supports remote Peruvian communities who are able to thrive as a result of this project.
There are a number of fragrances available in the incense sticks, each one combines pure, wild harvested milled palo santo with a number of other essential oils, resins and dried herbal/floral extracts.

The project seeks to bring the energies of Northern Peru and its ancestors to the world. The lives of Peruvian tribes were steeped with rituals and a deep belief in otherworldly powers. The sacred Palo Santo tree was a significant part of these beliefs, they treated the tree with reverence in order to cultivate its magical and healing properties. The trees were allowed to fall naturally and were then left in peace for a prolonged period to age and dry. Ispalla was created using old-world techniques that respect the ancestors and their ways, creating a unique incense which provides comfort, healing and soul purification.
