USA CERTIFIED ORGANIC White Sage Smudge Sticks
Our smudge sticks are from the only certified organic sage farm in the USA, they have certification from both the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture (USDA) and the California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF). The owners have been through a long and arduous journey to achieve their aim of growing sage in the most sustainable manner in order to ensure the survival of this much revered plant. Sadly, in many regions of California white sage has been harvested using such harsh measures that it has impacted its quality and ultimate survival.
The beautiful owners of this organic farm started their crop many years ago when they found wild salvia apiana growing naturally on their acreage, through trial and error they have now worked out the perfect techniques to grow this special plant, founded on much love, passion and respect, to not only the white sage, but also the earth and the people who are employed to harvest, dry and hand roll these gorgeous smudge sticks.
As a result of their efforts the white sage they produce is of extremely high quality, which is evident in its lovely silver/grey colour and intense scent. By retaining its purity and true essence these smudge sticks contain a high level of antimicrobial and antibacterial properties but most importantly they are infused with loving energy that is beautifully emitted and respectfully shared when burned during smoke cleansing ceremonies and rituals.
We offer both hand rolled and tool rolled USA organic smudge sticks in various sizes. They are beautifully tied with rainbow or natural coloured thread. Their scent is even more intense than standard white sage and their colour can be more varied as a result of being a completely natural product.

Smudging is the ancient ceremony of burning revered plants and herbs in order to create a sacred smoke bath. Please note: smudge availability is dependent upon weather conditions, white sage does not like rain or wet conditions in general. As a result our stock will vary greatly throughout the year.
